Snowdonia. Sleeps up to 6

Situated on the outskirts of the popular Betws-Y-Coed in the the heart of North Wales' Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is this lovely, detached stone cottage, Craigside. With Craig meaning 'rock' in Welsh, this rockside cottage is an ideal home-from-home for outdoor adventurers, whether that be an exciting break with friends, or a family holiday amongst the stunning mountains. On arrival, off-road parking makes it easy to unload your bags, before stepping into the cottage. To the left, the sitting room offers a corner sofa, perfect for sinking into while you flick through streaming services on the Smart TV after a day out. To the right, the dining room hosts a table with seating for six where you can plan your days over dinner, as well as a fireside chair beside the woodburning stove and a selection of books should you want to break away from the group and unwind. Through to the kitchen, everything you need to whip up delicious dinners rests here; the Rangemaster with a gas oven and hob will be difficult for the chef of your group to resist, while the extra touches of a wine cooler and breakfast bar allows you to catch up on the day's events with a glass of wine in hand as you cook. Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom, and a handy utility where you can freshen up your clothes and towels. When it is time to rest, climb the stairs to discover three well-presented bedrooms with plenty of storage and natural light; the master bedroom is home to a larger super-king-size bedroom, the second has a king-size, and the third holds two singles, making it ideal for children or friends sharing. Rest your head before a day of exploring your surroundings, before waking up with a hot shower in the shower room and starting your day. When you arrive back from a day of walking, cycling, or just idling around this picture-perfect part of Wales, a bubbling hot tub awaits you in the rear patio; relax and unwind in the bubbles before preparing to do it all again the next day. There is so much to see and do in the area including a fascinating visit to the Conwy Valley Railway Museum, for any train enthusiasts of your group, a round at the gorgeous Betws-y-Coed Golf Course which has tremendous views, or if you are looking for a thrill during your break, Zip World provides a fun-filled day of forest activities. Venturing outside of the village, a fantastic day can be enjoyed in the World Heritage town of Conwy, home to Conwy Castle for the history buffs, Conwy Morfa Beach for those who like to sunbathe with an ice cream, and Pensychnant Conservation Centre for the wildlife lovers in the family. If all that is not enough, the wonders of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park's mountains, lakes and spectacular views will be plenty to keep you busy.
