Glyn Saron is a gorgeous former Preachers residence, with woodburner, enclosed garden and downstairs bedroom and bathroom, attached to a lovely 19th century chapel. It sleeps 6, consists of a large kitchen/diner fitted with all modern appliances. Enjoy stunning rural and mountain views in this lovely old village location and just a 10 min drive to Tywyn with a sandy beach and numerous shops etc.

This delightful stone cottage has recently been refurbished and tastefully decorated to a very high standard, whilst retaining all its historic character features along with the comforts of modern living including WIFI. Glyn Saron consists of a large kitchen/diner fitted with all modern appliances. The large cosy lounge has a log burner for winter night by the fire side. It has three bedrooms, one double, one twin and a bedroom with bunk beds. There is a secure, sunny courtyard and garden with a wood store, loungers and patio furniture, for 'alfresco living'.

Downstairs:

Kitchen/Diner: Includes, electric double oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, all the necessary cooking utensils and a large pine dining table and 6 chairs.

Separate Lounge: A log burner provides the central feature in this room and gives some extra heat on those chilly evenings, logs are provided. There is also a flat screen TV with SKY TV, DVD player and small selection of DVDs. There is also a small selection of board games, sit and enjoy it all on a comfy 3 piece suite sofa plus other armchairs.

Bedroom 3: This is a twin bedded room downstairs, with a pine wardrobe and chest of draws.

Bathroom: The bathroom is downstairs and has a toilet, wash basin and shower bath with a great power shower. It also has a heated towel rail and under floor heating.

Upstairs:

Master bedroom: This is on the first floor and has a pine double bed, pine wardrobe and chest of draws and a flat screen TV on the wall.

Bedroom 2: This is also on the first floor and has a set of bunk beds and suitable wardrobe and storage space over the stairs.

All heating is by electric storage heaters, which are inclusive in the price. All the beds have man made filled fibre pillows and quilts, all bed linen is provided. Bath and hand towels are also provided for each person staying in the cottage. Tea towels and beach towel are NOT provided so please bring your own.

Outside:

The cottage is located in a very quiet lane off the main road into the village. It’s just a short walk to the village where there is a a good and eatery plus a village shop. Just down the lane are public footpaths that will take you to the banks of gorgeous Dysynni River. Glyn Saron has a sunny, private and secure courtyard garden area with a patio, barbeque area and shed.

Off road parking is available at the side of the cottage for just one car, any other vehicles will have to park in the lane. Shed storage: There is a large secure shed is available to store bikes, boots, fishing and boating gear, in the shed also is a 2nd freezer if needed.

Set on the edge of The Snowdonia National Park, the village of Bryncrug is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. For those with families, great sandy beaches can be found in Tywyn or Aberdovey. If you're into cycling or horse ridding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker paradise with Cader Idris just a few minutes' drive away! If you're not the active type, then how about a ride on the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls?

Come and explore this amazing area. Mid Wales is truly stunning and a 'well kept secret' by discerning globe trotters. Come prepared for all conditions, it does rain sometimes!

Just a few miles around the stunning Talyllyn Lake towards Corris, is the world renowned and#039;Centre for Alternative Technologyand#039; (or CAT) which is a fascinating place to visit and learn. Close to CAT is The Corris Craft Centre and King Arthurs Labyrinth, another must-visit place.

Short breaks when available: Monday-Friday 4 nights and Friday-Monday 3 nights. There is a minimum charge of £299 for any stay.

Prices inclusive of energy, wifi, bedding and towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Cleaning fee of £49 applied to each booking.

If you'd like to bring your pet, we require details of their age and breed before accepting and there will be a £25 per dog supplement.

Changeover day is FRIDAY in the main season.

It is the guests’ responsibility to insure against any losses that may occur should the need to cancel their holiday arise.

This cottage is located in Tywyn. King Arthur's Labyrinth and Cymer Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Aberdovey Golf Club and Fairbourne Golf Club. Penrhyn Amusement Arcade and Corris Craft Centre are also worth visiting.
