Harlech 1 mile. Surrounded by countryside and set down from the road, standing atop a verdant hillside with commanding views across open scenery, is Llety Perygl. The majestic Harlech Castle and iconic Royal St. Davids course are both close by, beckoning visitors from all over, the perfect escape to bring your family and friends. This attractive, stone-built cottage, dated circa 1800, boasts plenty of character and far-reaching views to the North West, including Snowdon. It is a nature-lover's paradise, with abundant wildlife attracted to the woodland and gardens, a place to relax once you have explored the coast and many walking trails of the area. You can prepare delicious, home-cooked meals in the oak kitchen, with the electric AGA range cooker to assist you, and get the family together around the marble top table in the dining room. Take some time out to read in one of the armchairs by the window, with glorious vistas catching your eye as you look up from your book. The utility houses the microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of storage, while the cloakroom next door has a washer/dryer, should you wish to do any laundry while you are away. There is a king-size double bedroom to complete the ground floor, while upstairs is a master king-size room showcasing dual aspect windows framing stunning views and its very own en-suite shower room. This is followed by another king-size double bedroom and a single room, while the family bathroom is rather spacious, boasting a rainfall shower over the bathtub. You have marvellous hillside gardens extending to over an acre, with an area of mature woodland, owned by The Woodland Trust and The National Trust, to explore with the kids. Enjoy the peace and quiet, amazing views and tangerine sunsets melting away as you indulge an evening drink on the patio. As well as its beautiful castle, Harlech also has a swimming pool, climbing wall, visitor centre and sandy beach, plenty to keep you entertained! The harbour town of Porthmadog is within driving distance, home to the Ffestiniog Railway and an array of gift shops and pubs, while the Italianate-style village of Portmeirion is also worth a visit. You are ideally situated in the Snowdonia National Park, with wonderful walks nearby, cycle paths and seaside fun with all the family. Choose this delightful holiday home for your next break in Wales.
