About this space
A perfect place for a relaxing retreat, this quirky property is set in peaceful grounds and is ideal for couples who fancy a unique getaway and something out of the ordinary, this detached 19th-century listed folly stands in the garden of the owners’ house and enjoys wonderful views over the pretty village of Hambledon, the birthplace of cricket. This Georgian Grade II listed property was built in 1832 and is situated in the South Downs National Park making it perfect for stargazing.
The space
Located on the ground floor is the modern kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge. There is also a shower room with toilet. Please note there are steep, narrow-tread stairs to the first floor cozy living room with dining table and TV. Continue up to the second floor where you will find the bedroom with a double bed, clothes storage and great countryside views. Access to roof is via a loft hatch, and pull down stairs and well worth it! On the roof terrace there is a bistro set where you can enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the village and country side well into the evening with romantic fairy lights. There is electric heating throughout and country views from every window.
Hotel quality bed linen, toiletries, towels and Wi-Fi are all included along with private parking.
Unfortunately the property is not suitable for children or pets.

Please note that the roof terrace is accessed by a narrow fold down ladder similar to loft access.

This vacation home is located in Waterlooville. Butser Ancient Farm and Westbury Manor Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include PlayZone Portsmouth and Marwell Zoo. West Sussex Falconry and Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium are also worth visiting.
