Exceptional newly built one bedroom, self catering accommodation set in a stunning rural setting (classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty).This upstairs apartment offers a secluded getaway in the heart of the countryside.We are 2 mile from Bishops Waltham, We are 3 miles from the stunning medieval village of Wickham which combines ancient history (the church dates from 1120 and sits on a large sacred mound), intriguing shopping, beautiful countryside and miles of walks and cycle rides. Perfect for a romantic break, away from the daily hustle and bustle but still close to towns like Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton. The medieval market town Bishop's Waltham is nearby with a butcher, greengrocer, bakery and supermarket as well as countless independent shops and restaurants. The brand new annex is a lovely cosy place, a real hideaway in the country, it is a comfortable home from home, this annex is self contained with all modern amenities.

The Annex is a detached self contained one bedroom place in the centre of Swanmore which borders the South Downs National Park. This newly converted accommodation is perfect for leisure travellers looking for a short break. With the South Downs National Park on the boundary and the historic cities of Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth within 25 mins drive. There are several excellent country pubs within a short walk including the Brickmakers Pub which is just 15 minutes on foot.

The Annex is detached with a parking space and set next to our house. We have installed a number of features to ensure your privacy.

We are keen cyclists and can provided secure bike storage and lots of advice on good cycle routes.

Great local facilities including , pubs & access onto M27/M3.

And if you don't fancy cooking, why not walk to our local pub, The Brickmaker's Arms for some delicious food and a a taste of our locally brewed beer. Access to your own private kitchen, shower room, toilet and own separate entrance to annex so you can come and go as you please. Large quiet double bedroom with double bed (additional single bed available on request for a supplement). Our accommodation has its own self catering facilities with microwave, dishwasher, sink and fridge freezer. The room is completed with a modern flat screen TV and free unlimited WiFi.

With separate access from our spacious driveway and parking for numerous cars, the apartment has everything you need for an overnight stop on your way to or from the Portsmouth ferry terminal, a longer business trip to Portsmouth, Southampton or Winchester or just a quiet getaway break.

You have full access to the annex which is separate from the main house, with it's own front door.

Fantastic rural retreat! Gorgeous heated studio with its own private garden. Very cosy & quiet space. Only fifteen miles into either Winchester (London by train 55 minutes) or Romsey. Paultons Park & Peppa Pig world only 30 minutes or so away. Great exploring base!

Two resident, super friendly dogs who you'll probably meet as one slowly plods around the garden and the other plays around her.. They are both totally trustworthy and safe. You're welcome to borrow the younger fox-red Labrador if you'd like some canine company on a longer walk or run. Alternatively, the older Labrador will walk around the adjacent park with you. Just ask.

This vacation home is located in Southampton. Southampton Cruise Terminal and Wickham Park Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore South Downs National Park and Meon Shore Beach. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's going on at Ageas Bowl Cricket Ground, or consider a night out at Wickham Estate.
