Brockenhurst is in the heart of the Forest, and ponies and donkeys are often seen wandering along the main village street. With a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, the village caters for all needs. Whether on foot, bike, or even on horseback, there are miles of woodland tracks and forest trails to explore. Bikes can be hired in the village, and there are two riding stables to choose from, plus golf and fishing close by.

Other nearby local attractions include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and steam railway and Calshott Beach and Activity Centre. The Georgian market town of Lymington is just a short drive or train ride away, where you can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight for an exciting day out across The Solent!
