The two barns at Little Howle Farm (Acorn and Rivington) are stunning high-end barn conversions. Our neighbours are cows and sheep, we have stunning views, peace, calm and tranquility. We are perfectly placed between the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean. A 5 minute drive from Ross on Wye with its many pubs, restaurants, shops and of course, watersports on the river Wye.
We provide a weclome pack which includes Milk from a local Farm, Westons cider (great day out), a snack, tea, coffee and sugar.
Acorn Cottage has one double bedroom with luxury ensuite bathroom and can also can be configured with a king size bed or two single beds. The bathroom includes a bath and generous, separate shower. We provide luxury fluffy bath sheets, hand towels, flannels and bath mats. The living area is situated upstairs and is completely open plan to include lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. We provide tea towels, dish cloths/sponge, oven gloves and apron as well as cleaning products. There is a back door which opens out on to the orignal barn steps leading to the garden.
There are a couple of games, a puzzle, local information, suggested walks and OS maps in each cottage.
A patio area is provided directly outside of the cottage which is a lovely place to sit as it is sheltered and gets the sun all day. A barbeque and fire pit area is around the rear of the cottage along with a large lawned area and a sun terrace at the top of the garden over looking the Malvern Hills. There is very little light pollution in Howle Hill so the terrace is perfect for star gazing.
Plenty of on site parking is available. We have games room/bar (unstocked) with table tennis table, table football, many board games and also outdoor games which guests are welcome to borrow. We also have a laundry room should guests need it.
Acorn Cottage can be linked internally with Rivington Barn which adds a further 2 double ensuite bedrooms and will then sleep 6.
Located in Ross-on-Wye, this cottage is in a rural area. Wilton Castle and Littledean Jail are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Wye Valley and Malvern Hills.
