Local activities include canoeing, fishing, cycle trails, rock climbing and many miles of footpaths. You may wish to visit the Forest of Dean (9 miles) and take a steam train ride through spectacular scenery or visit the filming locations of Harry Potter and Star Wars. Nearby are the historical towns of Ross on Wye (7 miles) with its 17th century market house and Monmouth (6.5 miles), the birthplace of King Henry V. The cathedral city of Hereford (21 miles) offers an array of shops and restaurants. This open plan lodge is situated above a private garage for parking your car and is large enough to store mountain bikes and canoes. There are additional storage units and a small freezer for your stay. The stairs from the garage lead you to your accommodation where your holiday truly begins. Perfectly situated below the window is a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a meal or a drink whilst enjoying the undisturbed panoramic view.
