The iconic Goodrich Castle sits within the village, standing in open countryside above the River Wye, Goodrich Castle is one of the finest and best preserved of all English medieval castles. The village is also home to the delightful village hall, and two pubs serving food. Close by, overlooking a large loop in the River Wye, is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of rural Herefordshire.
Located in Ross-on-Wye, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Great Castle House and Wilton Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Forest of Dean Adventure Ropes and Forest Hills Golf Club. Symonds Yat West Leisure Park and Oldfield Forge are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
