Plough Cottage is a spacious family home in the small village of Glasbury-on-Wye; in a brilliant private location - tucked away in this attractive village on The River Wye, and just 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 8 miles from Brecon. With a large and enclosed garden at the back and the front -making it safe for children and dogs - Plough Cottage is the perfect cottage to book for families.

Glasbury-on-Wye has the excellent Foyles restaurant and just across the river The River Cafe, one of our personal favourites; there is also The Harp, a more "local" pub and a small shop/garage.

The River Wye in Glasbury has a long and large shingled beach, where there is always activity - whether it is families enjoying a picnic, playing games, in the summer swimming and paddling, groups of people in canoes or fishing, dog walking or bird watching.

Please note - building works are being undertaken at a neighbouring property.

Accommodation

Sleeps 6 - 2 Double, 1 Twin

The comfortable sitting room has sofas and chairs, wood burner and a large TV with Sky (basic package) and DVD. This leads on from the main dining area with table and seating for 6.

The family kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Bedroom 1: Large double bedroom

Bedroom 3: Twin beds

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

The large front and rear gardens are fully enclosed and have patio furniture to enjoy the peace and quiet and the scenery.
