The nearest pub, The White Horse at Burnham Green, is 15 minute walk away. The food was OK the last time I ate there and it has a very nice garden. About 2.5 miles away, the Plume of Feathers is a Greene King pub and is very affordable. The garden is also large and pleasant. If you want to walk along country road to Datchworth, you will find the Horns pub about 2 miles away. The food is good and Alice and Efa will give you a wonderful welcome. If you enjoy historic buildings, this one is for you. It was built in about 1543 when King Henry V111 was on the throne.

Located in Welwyn, this vacation home is in a rural area. Chadwell Springs Golf Course and Aldwickbury Park Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Knebworth Country Park and Stanborough Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Benington Lordship Gardens, or check out an event or a game at Lamex Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
