Oak Tree House is a large detached house set back from the road in the village of Tomatin, with a shop and café. It is an ideal central location to explore the wider Scottish Highlands. Tomatin is located just to the west of the main A9 trunk road 25km south of Inverness and 25km north of Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park. Inverness airport is 30 minutes north by car. Within daily travelling distance is Ullapool, Isle of Syke and the north and east costs of Scotland. To the rear of the property there is a stunning landscaped garden with a large pond with views of the River Findhorn and Findhorn Viaduct.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen and separate boot room, a large hall, main wet room bathroom, lounge and dining room, sun lounge, two bedrooms (1 en-suite wet room). There are wood burning stoves in the lounge and kitchen.
Upstairs there is a large landing and seating area, a secret library door leads to an en-suite bedroom, there are two further bedrooms.
There is ample off-road parking to the front of the property for up to 5 vehicles. The ground floor of the property and rear garden have good accessibility.
Located in Inverness, this vacation home is in a rural area. Strathspey Steam Railway and Culloden Battlefield are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Cairngorms National Park and Craigellachie National Nature Reserve.
