A very warm welcome to our beautiful Shepherd's Hut ‘The Wee Hut’, is a lovely locally hand built bespoke Hut set in the village of Dunbeath.
Situated on the NC500 route, The Wee Hut is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the local walks and scenery or exploring the NC500, gin and whisky distilleries and local historic sites or sea life.

There is space for relaxing in the open plan livingroom/ kitchen /bedroom which includes a table and chairs which to enjoy the view across to Dunbeath Castle, mountains and the sea.
This Hut makes the perfect holiday away for a couple to sit back and relax. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and warm feeling.
As a self-catering Hut, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment, a gas cooker, a kettle, toaster and a microwave.
Due to it’s remote location the Hut is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. It offers a DAB radio. But please note phone reception can depend on provider and there is no Wi-Fi available.
There is a double bed. the bedding is high quality, white bed linen and a Harris Tweed throw.
There is one bathroom containing a cassette toilet, sink and large walk in shower with powerful shower.
The kitchen is bespoke handmade from antique flooring with a ceramic sink. Quality kitchen pots and utensils complete the luxury feel.
We include a starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, wash liquid, tea towel, toilet roll and hand wash.
We also provide a complimentary welcome pack of Scottish items (Any food allergies please let us know before arrival)
Quality, white bed linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are on-site parking facilities available at the property.
