The Barn is a rustic semi-detached cottage resting in Staffin, Isle of Skye and can sleep three people in one bedroom and a sofa bed.
This all-ground-floor cottage has one twin bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC. An open-plan living space contains a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed and solid fuel stove. Heating is provided by electric heaters and amenities include an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. For entertainment there is a TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. A starter pack for fuel, power and peat for stove are all included in the rental price, as well as bed linen and towels. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a shared garden. One well-behaved pet welcome, however smoking is not permitted. For your convenience, there is a shop 0.4 miles away, a pub 3 miles and the beach 1 mile. Just a short stroll to the coast, The Barn is located in a stunning part of the magnificent Isle of Skye.

Town: The coastal village of Staffin is located in the northern part of the Isle of Skye. With two restaurants, two stores, a part-time running Post Office, the Staffin Slipway for sailing enthusiasts, the only sandy beach in the north of Skye, and numerous walks along the shore or inland, this calm community overlooks Staffin Bay and Staffin Island. The major town on Skye, Portree, lies 17 miles down the coast, and from there, the entire island may be easily explored.
Located in Portree, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. Quiraing and Kilt Rock reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Skyelight Candles and The Brother's Point. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, cycling, and rock climbing nearby.
