A stylish, bright and comfortable recently refurbished 2 bedroom semi-detached house located in the heart of the Highlands. "Cairncraig" is found in Boat of Garten, one of the most popular villages in the Cairngorm National Park.
The property is on one level and comprised of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sleeping a total of up to four guests. There is a family sized shower-room, a fully-equipped dining kitchen and a lounge. For younger guests there is a travel cot and high chair, available on request. There is off-road parking for two cars and a secure garden with patio, furniture and BBQ for guest use. There is secure storage for bikes or golf clubs etc.
Access to the property is by keyless entry, there is state of the art electric heating, electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, microwave, Smart TVs in lounge and master bedroom (no connection to aerial in bedroom so only for streaming services) and Wi-Fi.
Each bedroom is equipped with a hairdryer and there are hot water bottles for the chillier winter nights. Power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
Inside the house is “no shoes” and a strict no smoking/naked flame policy is in operation. Parties and events are not permitted and, please, no anti-social behaviour as this is a peaceful area where the neighbours do not wish to be disturbed.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. They must sleep in their own beds, stay off the furniture/beds and you do the usual clean up after them, inside and out. Please do not leave them unattended unless crated or restricted to the kitchen.
Boat of Garten is a picturesque and popular village inhabited by friendly locals and visitors alike. The local shop & post office, Andersons Restaurant and The Boat Country Inn & Hotel are all within a 5 minute walk from the house. Carrbridge, Nethy Bridge, Aviemore and Grantown on Spey are all a short drive away where you will find plenty of choice of restaurants, bars and shops.
The list of things to do in the area is endless - Landmark Forest Adventure Park, water sports at Loch Morlich or Loch Insch, cycling, golf, walking, skiing, zip wire venues, bird watching plus a never ending supply of walks where you can enjoy the breath taking scenery to name but a few.
This welcoming and cosy house is the perfect base for families and friends to holiday while exploring the area with its dramatic and varied scenery together with a multitude of activities to suit all ages and interests.

Located in Boat of Garten, this cottage is next to a golf course and on a river. Strathspey Steam Railway and Lochindorb Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Boat of Garten Golf Club and Carrbridge Golf Club. Traveling with kids? Consider Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Wildlife. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
