The village of Newtonmore is particularly popular with anglers and grouse hunters, whilst there is also a great selection of pubs and eateries should you fancy a night off cooking. Get to know your surroundings better by exploring a range of walking and cycling trails, plus there’s even opportunity for pony-trekking. For a family day out, the Wild Cat Trail and Wild Cat Experience is nearby, whilst those looking to trace their Highland ancestry can visit the Clan MacPherson Museum! Alternatively, history buffs will love the Highland Folk Museum which showcases how Scottish Highland ancestors lived, how they built their homes and how they tilled the soil!
