The cosy sitting room has a woodburning stove, a reclining leather suite and a great bay window allowing for full appreciation of the fabulous mountain views. A private driveway leads up to the cottage, and the natural garden has a rear gate that leads directly out to the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase. A short walk across the canal bridge will bring you to a lovely pub and restaurant literally on your (back) doorstep! The bustling town of Fort William is very close by and offers great facilities for dining and shopping. There are boat trips on Loch Linnhe, an excellent museum in the centre of town and of course for the more active a walk up the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis. You may wish to journey into Glencoe to the visitors centre or tour the west coast and see the magnificent Glenfinnan monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie came ashore in 1745.
