Standing above Lochalsh in its own secluded grounds and surrounded by the National Trust for Scotland woodland gardens. South facing and in a magnificent setting with wonderful views of sea and the mountains of Skye rising to over 1000m. Although extremely private, lying along its own track of around 300m, it is only 3-4 minutes by car to Kyle of Lochalsh which has a railway station (the scenic railway line to Inverness really is world famous!) a bank, shops and an excellent supermarket. There is also a smaller supermarket and Post Office about a mile away. Our garden has a large lawn and is planted with Magnolias and mature species Rhododendrons from Bhutan, China and Nepal and which flower from February until August.
Doubled glazed with fitted carpets throughout; night storage heating and wood/coal burning stoves; both off-peak and instant electric hot water. If you want to keep in touch, we offer free Fast Fibre Wireless broad band WiFi. It is a wonderful location with great privacy. The skies above us in winter are ink-black and intoxicating - perfect for star-gazing! (when did you last see the Milky Way .....?!)

Located in Kyle, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. Plockton Harbour and Torabhaig Distillery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Loch Carron and Glen Shiel. Traveling with kids? Consider Magpie and Isle of Skye Market Square. Kayaking and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
