Cruachan Self Catering Holiday Home is located near the North Coast 500 (NC 500), just over 2 km (1 mile) from the village of Lochinver along the single track road towards Inverkirkaig. Beautiful views, clean fresh air and peaceful surroundings allow you to recharge from a hectic life. During those days weather restricts access to the breathtaking surroundings there is a 40” smart tv with Netflix availability, Freesat or use the connected dvd player and choose from our selection of dvd’s. You can also use your phone or tablet to cast your own video service to the wifi connected Chrome cast device.

Within walkable distance from the house you will find incredible beauty! Whether hiking the Culag Woods, River Inver and Glencanisp circuit, Inverkirkaig falls or Achmelvic beach you will be blown away by the beauty of the area.
SURROUNDED BY WILDLIFE
With some of the most diverse bird life in the UK, this area is an excellent location for avid bird watchers. Others may be seeking a glimpse of rare species of wildlife like red deer. And keep an eye out for sightings of dolphins, seals and porpoises as you walk along the coast.
ENCHANTING COMFORTS
In some ways a holiday spent at Cruachan Holiday Home feels as if you have gone back to a simpler time. Keep toasty with the wood fire stove while reading a good book. Throw feed out and watch the different species of birds enjoy a meal from the large viewing windows in the main living area. Take a walk out of the back gate for a fantastic view of the ocean while enjoying the sounds of the wind. Enjoy one of many hikes through the woods, along streams and rivers or walk to the Inverkirkaig shore and listen to the crashing waves.
Located in Lairg, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Ullapool Golf Club and Ullapool Ferry Terminal are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Handa Island Nature Reserve and Inverkirkaig Beach. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with mountain climbing, hunting, and hiking/biking trails.
