All rooms of this holiday home are on the ground floor. The large living/ dining room is furnished with a 3-seater settee, 2-seater settee and an armchair. There is a TV with Freeview channels, DVD player, coffee table and electric fire. There is a dining table with space for up to 5 guests. The lounge benefits from two large windows allowing great natural light throughout the day. The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & hob, fridge/ freezer, fridge, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave oven, pots and pans and plenty of kitchenware. The master bedroom offers guests a double bed, bedside cabinets with lights, dressing table with mirror and chair, wardrobe, chair and electric coal effect fire. The double bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinet with lights and clothes storage unit. The single bedroom is furnished with a single bed, bedside cabinets with lights, clothes storage unit and TV. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet. The garden/ outside has a large garden, mainly grass. Washing line. Off-road parking for 2 cars, outside dining furniture. Access to Culbokie woods – many forestry commission tracks and paths to investigate. Guests have access to the entire property.
Culbokie is the nearest village, around a 10-minute walk or very short drive. The village has a small licensed grocery store, post office, pub with restaurant and church. Dingwall is the nearest large town with a variety of shops and a couple of Supermarkets. Dingwall also has a great range of food and drink offerings; check out the speciality cafes in the town and enjoy some great local produce. A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands, especially when staying in The Black Isle. No smoking. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM – 10 PM. Check out time is 10 AM. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies includes toilet rolls, complimentary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
