Foyers is perhaps most well-known for its spectacular 140ft waterfall known as the Falls of Foyers where the River Foyers drops into a gorge leading into Loch Ness, providing a scenic afternoon of exploring. The capital city of the Highlands, Inverness, lies 20 miles away but offers a flourish culinary scene, superb retail therapy, iconic structures with its suspension bridge and many historical treasures.
