The property is only 3.9 miles away from the main town of the Western Highlands, Fort William; containing all of your amenities and more - the town is the perfect location for a day out. Be sure to visit The West Highlands Museum to learn about the extensive history of the area and view some very intriguing exhibits; or climb aboard the famed the Jacobite Steam Train (ideal for Harry Potter fans!) To travel along 84 miles of railway between Fort William and Mallaig and admire the dramatic Highlands landscape. The cottage is in an ideal location, being less than twenty minutes' away from the Achintee entrance to Scotland's iconic mountain Ben Nevis; the mountain is perfect for walking, cycling and climbing enthusiasts - with a range of different routes featuring differing levels of difficulty.
