Ptarmigan is a detached bungalow situated 4 miles from Carrbridge in the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage sleeps six people and has a king-size double (zip/link) with en-suite shower room, regular double and twin, sleeping a total of six people. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a kitchen and dining area and a sitting room. Outside is a lawned garden to the rear and off road parking for 3 cars. Ptarmigan is a lovely getaway in a quiet location, ideal for families or groups of friends who wish to explore the Scottish highlands.

Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, the village is home to a pony trekking centre, a challenging 9-hole golf course and a good selection of shops and eateries.

Located in Grantown-on-Spey, this vacation home is in a rural area and near theme parks. Strathspey Steam Railway and Lochindorb Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Loch Garten Osprey Centre and Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Wildlife are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking/biking trails in the area.
