This charming detached cottage is set just a few minutes walk from the sea shore on the edge of a crofting community and is halfway between Portree and Dunvegan, providing a fantastic base for exploring the Isle of Skye. Built over 100 years ago the cottage is ideal for a family or a group of friends as the bedrooms offer flexibility for a variety of groups. With two doubles, a twin and a single room the cottage comfortably sleeps up to seven guests. Stunning far-reaching views from the first floor will allow you to see the outer isles on a clear day. On the ground floor is a fantastic, well-equipped kitchen which as an adjoining sunny dining room with sliding doors opening out to the garden. This space will be a favourite amongst your group as it provides room for everyone to sit together and enjoy meals while discussing plans for the next day. There are two sitting rooms to choose from which gives you the option for some peace and quiet if required. Both have an open fire and one has dining space. Completing the accommodation are a ground floor wet room and a bathroom upstairs. The children are sure to enjoy exploring outdoors and the garden is bordered by grazing land on three sides giving you a true countryside setting. The amazing sights and sounds of the Isle of Skye are easily accessible from the property which is well know for its walking opportunities. There are great choices for evening meals out and pubs where you can enjoy live music and there are two restaurants/pubs within three miles of the cottage at Edinbane and Skeabost. 6 Knott is only ten miles from the island's capital of Portree and the variety of activities available are sure to keep everyone entertained.
