When mealtimes call, find yourself in the spacious kitchen where delicious meals for all guests to be prepared using the range of home-from-home amenities available, as well as a small bar perfect for morning coffee, and from here, descend the small staircase to discover a dining area with a large wooden table central to the room where a snug area and TV add to the space, with French windows opening onto a balcony that overlooks the beautiful scenery of the forest coated hills down to the lock, you won’t be able to resist a glass of wine in the evening whilst watching the sun set. Four bedrooms are available at your leisure, with the options of one super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, a splendid king-size with en-suite shower room and two wonderfully furnished twins with zip-link that can be set up as super-king on request, each decorated with pale creams, duck egg and lilacs to give a relaxing feel to each room which feels both airy and homely, and there is an additional shower room and ground-floor WC. Outside, you will be delighted to find not only a raised balcony, but a decking area with furniture, perfect for an outdoor breakfast or tea made on the barbecue, before you head of to explore the loch below, and a lawn that is great for reading and picnics. The local area of Glenfinnan is one rich in heritage and beauty, and this can be further explored by a visit to Glenfinnan Station Museum, Glenfinnan Monument and the surrounding National Trust walk, as well as the stunning Glenfinnan Viaduct where the Hogwarts express can be seen travelling. Closer to the loch there are not only beautiful walks, but Loch Shiel Cruises as well as the exciting Snowgoose Mountain Centre where you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing and mountain walking as well as hikes along the loch to the monument at Sgùrr Ghiubhsachain. The nearby town of Corpach offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes or you could head over to Fort William, where there will be day trips to the Isles of Rhum, Muck and Eigg.
