Lenavore is a small and charming self-catering holiday cottage on the island of Islay, which is located off the beautiful west coast of Scotland.
The cottage, which is situated on the south of the island on The Oa peninsula, has been in the same family for over 70 years and was once part of the Kinnabus Estate. The surrounding land now forms the RSPB’s Oa nature reserve, home to birds such as choughs, peregrine falcons, and golden eagles. The Mull of Oa is famous for its stunning and rugged coastline, open moorland and freshwater lochs.
With panoramic views across the Mull of Oa, Lenavore's rural location makes it the perfect retreat for couples looking to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful landscapes, varied wildlife and many other attractions that the island of Islay has to offer.

A few points we like to make prospective visitors aware of to avoid any disappointment:
Unfortunately, the cottage does not have wi-fi, but internet connection is available at the ‘Cyber Café’ on Mansefield Place in Port Ellen and many other places on the island also have wi-fi.
Due to its remote location, there is no mobile/cell phone signal at the cottage, but this can generally be obtained by travelling a short distance towards Port Ellen (depending on your network).
Sorry, no pets are allowed at the cottage.
