This Grade II listed Georgian house is in the traditional seaside town of Ryde, Isle of Wight, just a short walk from the shops, passenger ferry and bus station.
There are 6 bedrooms - 3 doubles and 3 twin rooms, sleeping 12 people. Travel cots are also available. There are 3 bathrooms, a utility room, a large kitchen with dining table.
Downstairs has a large, comfortable lounge with TV (inc Sky), DVD, CD and iPod dock. There is a separate dining room with seating for 12.
The large kitchen with breakfast area is fully equipped for your stay, with a range cooker, electric oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and all the cookware and tableware needed for your stay. Patio doors lead from the kitchen to the outside area with steps up to the garden.
The kitchen leads through to a reading room, with seating and patio doors to the outside area, and separate snug with seating, TV (inc Sky), books and games/toys.
Further on through the ground floor is a utility area with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer, this leads to a downstairs bathroom with accessible shower and toilet.
The first floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Bedroom 1 - Double Bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe sand chest of drawers.
Bathroom - family bathroom with a shower over bath and a separate toilet.
The second floor has 2 spacious bedrooms, one with superb views across the Solent.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 - Both rooms have double beds, large wardrobes with shelving, and a dressing table.
On the third and final floor there are 2 further bedrooms and a large family bathroom.
Bedroom 5 and 6 - Both twin rooms with 2 single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom - toilet, bath and walk in rainfall shower cubicle.
There is off road parking for one small car on the driveway. Please note that this house was built long before large, modern cars were invented. There is free on-street parking.
The walled garden at the rear has an enclosed raised lawned and planted garden with patio, furniture and charcoal BBQ

Bedding (pillows, pillowcases, quilts, quilt covers, sheets) are provided and beds will be made prior to your arrival. Towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) are also provided. Please note that beach towels are not provided.
We provide some essentials such as a toilet roll and hand towel in each bathroom, some cleaning products and a tea towel in the kitchen.
We also provide some tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen ready for your arrival, so you can have a cuppa before unloading the car.

Located in Ryde, this vacation home is near the beach. Isle of Wight Steam Railway and Osborne House are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Isle of Wight Zoo and Sandown Pier. Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary and Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre are also worth visiting.
