The detached property is located within the grounds of Godshill Park Farm, which offers a range of activities from walking with llamas and alpacas to fishing the farm s pond stocked with carp, roach and tench. This is an ideal place to stay if you enjoy cycling and walking as it benefits from direct access to the renowned Stenbury and Worsley trails. The quintessential English village of Godshill, within a short walk of the cottage, boasts some of the oldest architecture on the island and is known for being the site of the first Isle of Wight festival back in 1968. Godshill is also home to popular pubs, restaurants, cafes (including a vegan one!) and tea rooms for those memorable meals out. Enter this comfortable cottage and come into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. You may be lucky enough to see red squirrels and wild birds feeding a short distance away on their feeders of which the bay window in the lounge gives a good view. With a hand built settee suite and TV/DVD this is a lovely space to snuggle up in at the end of a fun packed day. There is ample seating at the dining table for you all to sit and enjoy family meals. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor, complete with shower over bath and WC. Head up to the first floor where both bedrooms are located. The main bedroom with double bed boasts wonderful views over the countryside as does the second bedroom which has twin beds. The lawned garden at the side of the cottage borders the wonderful Isle of Wight countryside. An outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining is the ideal setting for a family holiday. You will feel surrounded by nature here at Godshill Park Farm. Parking for one car is located at the front of the cottage.
