All amenities are within walking distance, although if you have walking difficulties you will need a car to reach the town as it is hilly getting to the town. There are very regular buses run from Ventnor town. There is a tourist information point at the post office in Ventnor Town.
There are plenty of wonderful walks on your doorstep. One way you can walk to Ventnor beach - 10/15 walk and on to Ventnor town or on to Steephill Cove, the old smugglers cove and eventually you will reach The Botanic Gardens. The other direction you can walk to Bonchurch beach and up through the woodland to Bonchurch and visit beautiful Bonchurch Pond . Walking further a field you can carry on from Bonchurch woodland up to the unique devils chimney and wishing seat.

Located in Ventnor, this cabin is on the waterfront. Old St Boniface Church and Shanklin Old Village are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Ventnor Park and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf. Oceanblue Sea Charters and Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre are also worth visiting.
