Further afield is the National Trust area of Newtown National Nature Reserve, perfect for long scenic walks and wildlife spotting, with some of the most magnificent views across the countryside. Head over to Newport, where you will find a museum, the Monkey Haven - Primate Rescue Centre, and Carisbrooke Castle, and other attractions include walks along the coast of the stunning Isle of Wight AONB.
