Garden Cottage is located across the yard from the other three Little Span Farm holiday properties. Dating from the 17th Century and built of stone, this holiday home is etched with character. The interior is well maintained, with white walls highlighting both the original features, along with the traditional, comfortable furnishings. Spread over two floors, the accommodations ‘upside-down' design plays with convention, so you will find the bedrooms on the ground floor, comprising of a double with an ensuite shower, a twin and a small bunk room, along with a family bathroom. Twist your way up the spiral-staircase to the lofty heights of the first floor, where exposed beams are a reminder that you are in the eaves of the building. The generous kitchen is fully equipped for enthusiast guests to turn their hand to home cooking, with the added advantage of a dining table in situ to ensure food is served quickly and kept piping hot! On leaving the kitchen, you pass by French doors which open out to the decked balcony; the ideal place for daytime sunbathing, while the exterior table and parasol provide a perfect spot for al fresco dining, accompanied by the peace of the countryside.

Little Span Farm occupies the western slopes of the Rew Valley, providing some magnificent views of the Island and the English Channel. Situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it used to be part of the Appuldurcombe Estate and is now run as an attractive grassland farm, with grazing sheep. Your stay will allow you to relax and unwind, surrounded by beautiful downland and woods owned by the National Trust.

Located in Ventnor, this cottage is in a rural area. Ventnor Park and Pirates Cove - Shanklin are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre and Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. Oceanblue Sea Charters and House of Chilli are also worth visiting.
