Captains Cottage is a newly renovated Victorian cottage with all the ingredients for the perfect Island break.
Egyptian cotton bedding + towels, aromatherapy toiletries and a deep free standing bath to relax in after a fun filled day are just a few of the luxuries awaiting you.
Large enclosed garden with views of beautiful Shanklin Down.
The local area has something for everyone. Beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, cafés, and activities to suit all ages.

The Space:
Captains Cottage sleeps eight (including an adult sized bunk bed).
Travel cot available on request.
An extremely spacious home, featuring a large conservatory, dining room, games room, large mature gardens featuring a BBQ and Fire Chiminea, so there is plenty of space for everyone.
Guest Access:
You will have the whole house to yourself.
The Neighborhood:
Shanklin has beautiful sandy beaches, a charming old village, Shanklin Chine waterfalls, the Theatre and a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and Cafes as well as a wide range of supermarkets, delis, butcher, etc.
The beach features mini golf, adventure arcades as well as as some fantastic bars, restaurants, cafes and a beautiful thatched roof pub.
The Island has a huge range of events and activities around the year. The beach, stunning countryside, theme parks and extraordinary events make it an ideal get away, year-round.
Getting Around:
Shops, restaurants, etc: 2-5 minutes walk.
Old Village: Less than 10 minutes walk
Shanklin Chine: 10 minutes walk
Theatre: 6-8 minutes walk
Beach: Less than 10 minutes walk
Train station: less than 2 minutes walk with excellent links from mainland England.
Other Things to Note:
Free parking is available on-street right outside the front door, or at the train station carpark for £2 per 24hours / £10 per week - we're so confident you'll find parking that we'd be happy to reimburse a weekly parking permit for two car (receipt required).

Located in Shanklin, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Shanklin Old Village and Appuldurcombe House are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Pirates Cove - Shanklin and Sandown Pier. Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary and Isle of Wight Zoo are also worth visiting.
