Town: On the east bank of the River Medina, in the northern part of the Isle of Wight, is the town of East Cowes. The Cowes Floating Bridge connects the neighbouring town of Cowes. Another is the classic Boat Museum, where you can learn about wonderful stories involving beautiful boats, as well as the East Cowes Heritage Centre, which offers information about the neighbourhood. The East Cowes Marina, a tranquil neighbour to the crowded marinas in Cowes, is one of the town's main attractions. The 500-meter-south marina, which has 360 berths, is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the summer and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter.
