Marlie Lodge is a lovely two-bedroom lodge enjoying an idyllic location on the Marlie Holiday Park. Benefitting from a wonderful selection of on-site facilities, including a bar and restaurant, mini mart, entertainment venue and indoor pool, and set just a short drive away from the coast, Marlie Lodge is a fabulous dwelling for couples or a family of four. Park-up on your private driveway with space for one car, before making your way to your new holiday home. Be welcomed into the light and airy open-plan living area, where you can look forward to relaxing on the plush seating as you unwind in front of the Smart TV in the warmth of the electric fire. Impress your guests with delicious meals, whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen which features a handy dishwasher, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four or alfresco out on your very own private decking. After a day spent along the coast, wash sandy toes with a refreshing shower or a soak in the bath, paired with your favourite book. When sleep calls, retire to one of two well-appointed bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a twin, both with plenty of storage for your belongings. Take advantage of the excellent facilities on offer, whether it’s treating your loved ones to a tasty meal and local ales at the on-site restaurant and bar followed by an evening of entertainment at the entertainment venue, a dip in the indoor pool, relaxing in the Clubhouse or enjoying the delights of the Amusement Arcade. Wildlife enthusiasts will have found their haven with the SSSI site adjacent to the park, the wildlife-rich Romney Marsh and the resident rabbits which can frequently be spotted in the surrounding countryside. Nearby you will find the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, where you can hop aboard a vintage steam train and soak up the sights as you sit back and relax. Littlestone is well worth a visit and is home to an excellent golf club and a watersports club, where you can take to the waters on boat or kayak. Continue onto the golden sands of Greatstone Beach, where you can spend the day bathing, tucking into fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes or paddling the shores. Next stop is Lydd-on-Sea, where you can enjoy leisurely strolls through the Dungeness National Nature Reserve, visit the historic Prospect Cottage or try your hand at a further selection of watersports at Action Watersports. Further afield, you will find Rye, home to a local heritage centre, the National Trust site of Lamb House and the Rye Castle Museum – Ypres Tower. All this and more awaits with a stay at Marlie Lodge.
