Witherdens Hall Organic Spa Retreat is not your typical holiday accommodation. Louise has created a wonderful sanctuary that she loves to share with those who will enjoy being in this beautiful, peaceful and tranquil space. The Retreat Cottage and Suite accommodation are situated in the grounds of Witherdens Hall, Louise and her daughter Alice's home, and is run as a retreat on a not-for-profit basis. Witherdens Hall Retreat is set in the heart of the stunning Kent countryside close to the lovely village of Wingham, is a beautiful and tranquil place. Whether you are looking for a place to get away, somewhere from which to explore the local area, a restful family holiday or an opportunity to create a bespoke restorative mindful retreat, Witherdens Hall can provide that space. Lovely accommodations, use of our Chillspace MiniSpa and treatments with our highly recommended therapists, all help to make your holiday or break just what you are looking for. ​ The 2 bed Retreat Cottage sleeps up to 4 with a super king size magnet therapy bed and a twin/super king. Egyptian cotton sheets and towels are provided. The lovely bathroom, with Jacuzzi style bath, has Aromatherapy Associates toiletries and fluffy robes. The kitchen is fully equipped with relaxed dining/living space. All the rooms are comfortable, light and airy giving a wonderful sense of space and tranquility. We have lots of magazines including Country Living and Harper’s Bazaar, really interesting books and some great classic DVDs too. The cottage looks out onto a courtyard with lovely planting all year round. There is a small patio with sun loungers and table and chairs to enjoy the surroundings when the weather permits.

Covid-19 Response at Witherdens Hall:
With beautiful countryside quite literally on our doorstep and the Kent coastline no more than a short drive away, we feel this is the perfect escape from what has been a turbulent time.

However, due to current guidelines and in the interests of minimising the spread of Covid-19, we cannot guarantee that all facilities, such as the pool, spa area etc. will be available at the time of your stay. Please get in touch if you have any questions before booking.

Located in Canterbury, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. St. Lawrence Ground and Westgate Gardens and Towers are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Broome Park Golf Club and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. Traveling with kids? Consider Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts Wild Animal Park. Looking to get your feet wet? Kayaking and motor boating adventures can be found near the property.
