This stunning pocket of the Kent countryside is home to many quaint villages and market towns such as Tenterden and Cranbrook where independent cafes, restaurants and antiques shops can be found. The village of Smarden boasts a wonderful village art gallery, shop, local butchers and two traditional pubs, perfect for enjoying a spot of refreshment after one of the many local walks on offer that can be reached directly from the rear of the cottage. Enter the cottage into a small hallway where there is space to leave your boots and coats before continuing through to the light and airy lounge/diner. With two comfy sofas, an armchair and a Smart TV, this is the perfect place to curl up and watch a good film after enjoying a family meal at the dining table which can accommodate six guests. The well equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs from the hallway lead up to a choice of three bedrooms, a double with TV, wonderful views overlooking the countryside and an en suite shower room with shower and WC, a further double and a twin bedroom. The large and impressive bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Patio doors from the lounge open out onto a patio with fantastic views of the pretty garden and rolling countryside beyond. A patio table and chairs are perfect for al fresco dining, whilst the decked area with a bistro table and chairs offers a spot to enjoy the morning sun. A gate at the end of the garden offers direct access onto the local footpath network.
