Enjoy a stay in my bright and comfortable flat on the Folkestone seafront! With sweeping vistas from the Harbour Arm across the English channel all the way to Dungeness, you'll easily get lost in the ever changing colours of the sea. On a clear day you can even see France!

***PLEASE NOTE*** before booking that in the summer of 2023 some scaffolding is visible from the windows. Weather depending, some necessary roof and facade repairs may take place during normal working hours on weekdays. The view is not significantly obscured. Happy to send a photo if required. The flat has been recently decorated (2021-22) and is furnished with a mix of vintage and modern furniture, comfy pillows and throws, and lush green plants. Instead of a TV there is a selection of classic board games for when you want to stay in.
The beds have thick mattress toppers for extra comfort. The mattresses are soft/medium standard UK double (135x190cm) and single (90x190cm) sizes. There are full length mirrors and two hair dryers available for getting ready to go out.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and clean (please note no microwave), and there is space for six around the extendable dining table. However, with an abundance of great cafes and restaurants on your doorstep you'll find yourself spoilt for choice when dining out! There is room to store all your jackets and shoes in the hallway, where you'll also find towels dedicated to any four legged friends that might be staying. In the hallway cupboard you'll find a high chair for meal times with a baby, and drying racks if you want to hang any washing. There is a travel cot with bassinet and changing table available.

You have full use of my whole flat during your stay. Check in is via lockbox so you can arrive and depart at your leisure.

Absolutely no parties, smoking, excessive drinking or otherwise disruptive behaviour please. The building is a tranquil space and my lovely neighbours have the right to enjoy their homes in peace and quiet.
Please note that the flat is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift, so it may be inconvenient for people and pets with reduced mobility.
Please be aware that there is no microwave or TV in the flat.
No additional guests other than the ones booked and paid for are allowed. The fee per person per night after 2 guests is £40 and is calculated automatically when you enter the number of guests in your search. If I have reason to believe more guests have been staying I will charge for full occupancy (6 guest) for the full duration of the stay.
Summer 2023 will see installation of a Blink doorbell which has the ability to record audio and video. The device will be installed on the frame outside the flat entrance door. It serves as a record of the hours charged by the cleaning company, and the correct number of guests staying per booking.
The mattresses are soft/medium standard UK double (135x190cm) and single (90x190cm) sizes.
It's appreciated if beds and rooms not needed for the booked guests are left undisturbed.
There is no storage for bicycles, surf or paddleboards, or other large sports equipment available indoors.
The cleaners arrive promptly at 11am so unless otherwise agreed, please ensure you have checked out and put the key back in the lockbox by then. If they are made to wait I'm afraid we will have to charge £10 for each 30 minutes past 11am.
Well mannered pets are welcome (the pet fee is £30), max 2 per booking. The flat is fully carpeted so wet or muddy paws must be wiped down before entering (towels provided), and kindly no pets on the furniture or beds.

Located in Folkestone, this apartment is in the city center and on the beach. Crypt of St. Leonard and Dover Western Heights are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Folkestone Harbour and Leas Promenade. Leas Lift and Elham Valley Railway Museum are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and rock climbing nearby.
