Region: Benefitting from its Georgian capital city Lancaster, popular for its tourist attractions of Lancaster Castle, Williamson Park and the wonderful Way of the Roses cycling route, Lancashire offers a range of hidden gems you won't want to miss. With Blackpool close-by, you won't be short of things to do with Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, the SEA LIFE centre and its 32-acre Zoo.

Town: The seaside communities of Lytham and St. Annes-on-Sea are tucked away along a charming length of shoreline that is bordered by lovely parks. This beautiful region's economy was solely dependent on fishing for many years before the Industrial Revolution began, when the wealthy started to develop an affluent area that has persisted to the present day. You can reach lush Clifton Street, where you'll find charming boutiques, cafés, and independent businesses, by taking a short stroll from the Lytham seafront. The Old Lytham Lifeboat House Museum and the restored Windmill are located on Lytham Green, a stretch of grassy area between the water and the major coastal road that offers views of the River Ribble and the Welsh Mountains. While walkers and birdwatchers will appreciate the sweeping sand dunes of St Annes-on-Sea and the Ribble Estuary, which offers a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter, those interested in craft ales may take a tour of the Lytham Brewery. There are four golf courses in the area, and the most well-known is the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, which serves as one of the Open Championship's host courses. St Annes-on-Sea offers guests a distinctive, thrilling addition to the traditional seaside activities with its picturesque pier and endearing beach houses in a variety of pastel colours. St Annes Square and Wood Street, where you may discover quaint coffee shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and independent shops, are only a short stroll from the pier. Lytham St Annes is a delightful coastal town with a lot to offer, including leisurely long walks, sunny days on the sand, and fun-filled frolics in adjacent Blackpool. Additionally available nearby are award-winning restaurants, traditional pubs, and wine bars if you feel like celebrating, as well as boating, cycling, shopping, and swimming. Lytham St. Annes is the perfect destination for your coastal holiday, whatever that may be.

Located in Lytham St. Anne's, this cottage is on the beach. Lytham Hall and Opera House Theatre are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Marton Mere Local Nature Reserve and Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Stanley Park Cricket Ground or Blackpool Football Club. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling, hiking, and rock climbing.
