This truly unique property at Brackenthwaite Holidays was previously used for storing dairy produce. Converted in 2015, it is a perfect space for a solo escape or romantic getaway for two.
This open-plan apartment annex features a glass-topped, light-up well at floor level that projects mesmerizing displays from the moving water beneath onto the ceiling at night while you sit beside the wood burning stove and cosy up on the sofa in front of the TV. The bedroom is on a separate mezzanine level.
You arrive at Brackenthwaite Holidays through a gated entrance and drive right up to the property where you will first be struck the by breath-taking views over Coniston Old Man and the Lake District beyond.
The property is accessed up a couple of steps and, upon entry, you will have a full view of the beautifully decorated, open plan layout.
Taking six steps down into the main living area you will find a large wall-mounted TV, comfortable chairs, wood burning stove, and tall windows that give you incredible views to two aspects and make the property perfectly well lit with natural light.
The full-equipped kitchen is to the rear of the open plan layout and down one small step beneath the mezzanine level. Creating a divide between living area and kitchen is a breakfast bar that is perfect dining for up to two. At the floor level by the breakfast bar is an impressive glass covered well with its own lighting. You may even see water flowing into the well, but don't worry, it wont flood!
Adjacent to the kitchen is the main bathroom which benefits from mood lighting and underfloor heating. Relax in the bath before bed or grab a quick shower in the morning before getting out into the local area - you have both options.
Up the stairs to the mezzanine level is the master bedroom with super king size bed and further incredible views west towards Coniston Old Man. Here you will also find a vanity unit, wardrobe and drawers.
Outside and during warmer months is a picnic table and other seating for relaxing, outdoor dining or barbecuing. If it gets a little chilly in the evening, make use of the chimenea that is also for your exclusive use.
Guest access
Guests have access to the property via the shared gated entrance. Directly opposite the property is a field that may be used for exercising your dog/s.
