Locate the kitchen/diner, compact yet well-equipped for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare and enjoy meals together, with a neighbouring utility available to keep on top of your washing. Enjoy the communal outdoor space to the rear of the home, where you can socialise and take in your rural surroundings, before climbing the stairs to two well-appointed bedrooms; select between a brass-iron kingsize, and a lovely single. Awaken to your morning routine in the contemporary shower room, before travelling on foot into the village, where you can visit the local Post Office, and dine out at the Cavendish Arms, or the Elm Tree Inn, before embarking on a nature-filled hike along the Embsay Crag. Directly opposite the cottage is the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway which takes you through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside to Bolton Abbey Station on a vintage steam train; from here it is a gentle walk to the historic Bolton Priory or the Devonshire Arms Hotel for a bite to eat. Travel to Skipton for further amenities, where you can also practise your swing at Skipton Golf Club, tour the magnificent structure of Skipton Castle, trek through Skipton Castle Woods, and tour Craven Museum & Gallery, whilst the Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival is held nearby, the perfect event for foodies. . Heading north, enjoy the opportunity to visit the remains of Bolton Abbey, with the Welly Walk and Stepping Stones trails to follow, or continue into the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you'll locate Parcevall Hall Gardens.
