In the Ribble Valley, it is at the official centre of the kingdom and is infused in history. It is less than a mile to Stydd Gardens for a nice afternoon in the Wine Shed or even dining alfresco. On the other hand, if you are looking for an energizing week away, you can enjoy the mountain biking route or the Gisburn forest trails. There are plenty of opportunities to take advantage of walking in the spectacular countryside with this being the nation’s eleventh largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is favoured by the royals.
