Victoria Quays on Wyre was originally built in 1836, when Fleetwood was first conceived by Sir Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood and architect Decimus Burton. This beautiful property is Grade II listed and previously known as the Victoria Public Hotel was the oldest pub in Fleetwood until it served its last orders in 2010. Now we are delighted to have the opportunity of renovating this beautiful property, welcoming guests and we will have 10 beautiful, quality, luxurious apartments available in time.
VQ Apartment 8 is situated on the second floor accessible by two flights of stairs. This is a beautiful appointed and comfortable, self-contained apartment, which offers two double bedded rooms facing the back of the building, one with a shower ensuite and a separate bathroom includes a bath with handheld shower.
The living area is open plan to include a sofa, Smart TV (for viewing streamed App TV), dining table and kitchen. Being on the uppermost level, this apartment boasts a stunning view over the River Wyre looking towards the Knott End Golf Club course and the Pennines beyond.
We hope to provide you with a home-from-home experience during your stay. Your professionally trained hosts will meet and greet you upon arrival and are available to assist with any queries and recommendations for during your visit. Some free parking is available at the front of the property or alternatively there is a very reasonably priced long stay car park just around the corner.
From entering the building from the front door, you enter into a beautiful black and white chequered tiled hallway and find the stairs to lead you up to the first floor, where you will find your apartment.
On the ground floor level, you have access to the secure, cobbled courtyard at the rear of the building, where you can enjoy the space with garden furniture available.
We meet and greet our guests upon arrival and live on site. We encourage our guests to let us know if they have any observations or requirements during their stay, so we can do our upmost to help.
Fleetwood is an interesting Victorian town, once a major fishing port with railway links in its heyday! Now has many places of interest near and far and if you would like to travel into Blackpool, our tramway is only a 3-minute walk to the nearest tram stops.
We are just around the corner from the infamous and very popular Fleetwood Market. A short walk to the iconic Mount Pavilion, Marine Hal and its gardens with a wonderful promenade and views across the Morecambe Bay to the South Lakes.
If travelling with your dog, your hosts can recommend some wonderful walks along the beach and surrounding areas.
This apartment is located in Fleetwood. Blackpool Central Library and North Pier Theatre are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Fleetwood Golf Club and Poulton-le-Fylde Golf Club. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's going on at Highbury Stadium, or consider a night out at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
