Located in the village of Arnside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of scenic walks, cycling routes and even fishing nearby. Along the promenade there is an abundance of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. Why not try their famous fish and chips?
Arnside is a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas of the South Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Hop on the train to the next stop of Grange-over-sands, a charming Victorian seaside town with a range of shops and cafés. Stay on for a few more stops to the village of Cartmel, known as the ‘foodie capital’ of the South Lakes and famous for its sticky toffee pudding. Driving will take you just 30 minutes into Windermere and Bowness and over to the famous Ingleton Waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales. Beach 100 yards. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 120 yards.
