Meadow View Cottage accommodates up to six guests and is the perfect setting for a group of friends or family seeking to explore all that Ingleton and the surrounding areas have to offer. On arrival, make use of the off-road parking space for two cars and be impressed by the enclosed patio area complete with outdoor furniture so you can enjoy the beautiful setting. Upon entering the cottage, you are welcomed into a spacious underfloor heated hallway adorned with a boot bench and coat hooks, the perfect space to unload after a countryside walk. There is also a handy washroom and W/C situated under the stairs. As you head into the spacious open-plan living/dining room, you will be greeted by an inviting corner sofa and roaring woodburning stove, where you can delight in a warm hot chocolate or even a glass of wine at the end of a long day. You will also be able to enjoy the benefits of a Smart TV and WiFi, so you can catch up on your favourite shows and movies. Moving through to the dining area, settle down at the large dining table seating six guests, as the designated chef gets to grips with a fantastic range of appliances in the hand-crafted, bespoke kitchen. When you reach the top of the beautifully lit staircase you will be met by three spacious bedrooms and the family bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables, bespoke made wardrobes and a set of drawers so you can unpack and make yourselves at home. All bedrooms have blackout curtains, giving you the full lie-in experience if you wish. Two of the bedrooms have zip and link beds which can be made into twin bedrooms upon request. The family bathroom is also full-equipped with all the fittings required to indulge in some much-needed R&R. In the morning, begin your day in the centre of Ingleton where you can embark on a scenic walk to Ingleton Falls or explore the depths of White Scar Cave, before refuelling with a hearty pub lunch at Masons Freehouse. From your doorstep, enjoy a round or two at Bentham Golf Course, uncover the hidden gems of Gaping Gill and Ingleborough Cave or embark on one of several fantastic walking trails that can be located nearby. Further afield, spend the day in Kendal, where you’ll find Kendal Castle, in addition to a wide array of pubs, restaurants, independent stores and cafes, or alternatively head to Settle for The Museum of North Craven life, Scaleber Force Waterfall and plenty more!
