Moo Cow Cottage in is a family run holiday cottage on Stocken Hall Farm, located just 2 miles of the A1 between Stamford and Grantham and just a 15 minute drive to Rutland water.
The cottage has recently been renovated and has a beautiful sage green kitchen with all modern fixtures and fittings as well as a boot room and space for dog beds , downstairs bathroom with shower over bath, living room with open fireplace and lots of available firewood at your finger tips. The 3 upstairs bedrooms are a good size and each room has space for a travel cot or airbed which can be provided. (To note: we regret we do not have a bathroom upstairs)
Dog Friendly: We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and can assure you the garden is safe a secure.
Child friendly: We offer a great secure space for the children with a huge garden and concreted back yard. The children have there own play shed too which is a big hit, we have a range of ride on tractors to choose from as well as goal posts with football also. On wet days we have indoor toys, board games and colouring books so you can relax when the kids entertain themselves.
Laundry: We have a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a large outside clothes line, clothes horse, ironing board and iron.
So whether your looking for a week away, or just a relaxing short break away Moo Cow Cottage could be your ideal getaway.


Located in Oakham, this cottage is in a rural area and near theme parks. Woolsthorpe Manor and Browne's Hospital and Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Rutland Water Nature Reserve and Rutland Zorbing. Traveling with kids? Consider Nottingham Raceway Karting and Barnsdale Gardens. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
