Beautifully located on a tranquil edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds are Bainvalley Cottages, four high quality, pet friendly, self catering properties, just 25 minutes from the sandy beaches of the North Sea coast. The farm-based barn and cottages can accommodate between four to six people or be booked together for parties of up to 18, making them ideal for those special celebrations being shared by mixed generations.
The cottages are totally unique in that their location is completely private. Down a drive from the pretty village of Hemingby surrounded by grazing cattle. With far reaching views over the fields and the Bain Valley you'll enjoy the wildlife and ever-changing expansive sky-scapes that Lincolnshire is famous for.
North and South cottage have been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated to create beautiful, light, airy and spacious open plan living, with an inter-connecting door in the kitchen area. When you book as a group for these two cottages, we set them up so that 14 of you can dine together in one cottage and comfortably sit together in the other.
The Hayloft is our latest addition. With an abundance of light and space, this is where you can all dine comfortably if you book as a group of up to 18 over the four properties. The Hayloft sleeps 6 and the 3 other properties each sleep 4.
The Shamba is a converted barn only 20 metres away and provide further accommodation with extensive living, sleeping and dining facilities as well as an abundance of outdoor space, lawns and patios furnished with outdoor furniture and heaters for your own private use.
Log burning fires will keep you cosy in the winter and the garden rooms offer space from which to keep an eye on the wildlife! There are multiple patio spaces and plenty of parking for you too.
You will be able to use the whole area and there is a tennis court for your own use too. The tennis court is private and only 100 yards from the cottages - why not organise your own "Wimbledon"! We also have a beach hut at our nearest beach which can be hired (£15 per day) for guests to use. It has a small paved area at the back of the hut as well as the prom on the front. The beach is very quiet with one cafe - The Fat Seagull and a sandy beach.
John and Wendy live about 75m from your cottages so any problems and we are around to help. Rebecca is our daughter and resident manager and will likely be at work in the studio on site for any queries.
Sleepy Lincolnshire allows you to see the stars at night and not be awoken by traffic - complete tranquility. Peaceful is the most common word in our Visitors Book. We are awaiting your booking!
Cars are necessary as we are in the countryside and the only bus service is one which you have to book!

This vacation home is located in Horncastle. Bolingbroke Castle and Tattershall Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at National Golf Centre and Aqua Sante Spa. Goltho Gardens and Wragby Maze are also worth visiting.
