Architectural Repose, By Veeve, London

London. Sleeps up to 9

Whether it’s the on-trend Terrazzo tiling, the spa-worthy infra-red sauna, or the relaxing hammock, this spacious family home boasts many unique features that are sure to help you unwind. Meanwhile, its location just a leisurely five-minute stroll from the beautiful, sought-after views of London at nearby Primrose Hill, make it a welcome spot to spend your city break.

Upstairs on the second floor, a contemporary twin room complete with two single Murphy beds — which can pivot from the wall when required — offers a sleeping area perfect for children or adults alike. The convenient en-suite shower room is also truly insta-worthy if we do say so, with sky blue and coral contrasts. The adjacent living room offers welcome views over the square outside. This is an ideal spot to read or watch a good film, all the while surrounded by botanical beauties, plenty of books and artworks that could merit a London gallery.

Ascend the stairs once again to a bedroom ideal for children, complete with three single beds and a very stylish doll's house, with the added luxury of air conditioning. The nearby bathroom gets top marks from us thanks to its Veeve yellow colourway and contrasting black fixtures. A bright third bedroom which overlooks the garden below, provides a comfortable double bed, ample storage space as well as a monochrome en-suite bathroom.

As you reach the top of the house, some might say the best is saved until last. In the principal bedroom, a super king-sized bed, air conditioning and Juliet balcony awaits. Across the way, the final bathroom is a lesson in design, thanks to Terrazzo tiling and the all-important infra-red sauna, for the ultimate feeling of tranquillity during your stay.

We Love...
The bathrooms (there are quite a few) all offer plenty of personality and punchy colour schemes, that are any interior enthusiast’s dream. Meanwhile, the garden is just the answer for making the most of a warm day in London, with a handy BBQ for cooking up a storm.

Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. A hypoallergenic dog usually lives here, but sadly won't be around during your stay. There is a study at the top of the house, but this will be locked. However, a desk and chair on the ground floor offer a welcome workspace, should you need. You can easily stay cool in this home, thanks to the air conditioning (a rare treat in London homes!). Heading into the city? You've got plenty of transport options with Swiss Cottage and Chalk Farm stations nearby. If you wish to make use of the sensational sauna, a surcharge will apply — either £10 per night, or £50 for a full week. The host's own cleaner will do weekly cleans for bookings of two weeks or longer, with a three hour service available for an extra £50 per day.

Located in London, this vacation home is in the city center. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Hyde Park and Finsbury Park, while London Eye and Natural History Museum are popular area attractions. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Wembley Stadium or ExCeL Exhibition Centre.
