Here are some of the main things you'll find nearby, with a few local tips thrown in for good measure ;)

• Anglican Cathedral: The longest Cathedral IN THE WORLD, and the FIFTH LARGEST - definitely worth a visit. It is stunning!
• Royal Liverpool Philharmonic - for all the best classical music performances in the North West
• Everyman Theatre - with it's continued dedication to showcasing some of the best local productions as well as more well know national ones
• Duke Street Market: Various gourmet street food stalls all within one building
• Liverpool ONE shopping centre
• Albert Docks for the Beatles Tour, Beatles Museum, Tate Gallery, Liverpool Museum, Slavery Museum, and a whole host of restaurants and bars
• Bold Street - excellent choice of restaurants (Our reccommendations: Maray, Mowgli, Rudy's, Elif, The Italian Club)
• FACT independent cinema and art gallery
• Seel Street / Wood Street / Fleet Street for nightlife
• The Oracle: A cool Victorian themed cocktail bar with street magician inside... Ring the doorbell and wait for them to let you in!
• Berry and Rye (on Berry Street): A whisky bar themed like a 1930's American speakeasy playing blues music. You will definitely have a tough time trying to find it! Search on your Map app, go to the general location, knock and have faith! Or ask the locals - everyone's happy to help!
• The Grapes - a cool local Bohemian pub with Sunday Jazz nights and a great selection of craft beer, ales and stouts on tap
• The Philharmonic Pub - It's unlikely you'll visit this place without someone insisting you need to check out the mens' toilet... Yep, that's right, and you should! The whole building is an architectural feast - especially the detailed mosaic tiles in the mens' toilet!
