Daisy Lodge is set in the garden of our beautiful country home, see location photo for proximity to our home. We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

The space
Please do not ask for less than a 2 night stay as it's not possible to accommodate this request. We have a 3 night minimum stay for July and August.There is a 4 night minimum stay over the Xmas and New Year’s period as well.
Please note, we do not accept dogs under any circumstances, so please do not enquire if this is possible!
We offer storage for cycles, we can lend you maps and give personal knowledge of the local bike parks and activities in the area. Daisy Lodge is a beautiful 1-bedroom bespoke, ecological building, which is energy efficient and produced in Lapland, Finland.
The property benefits private access, off road parking and is finished to 5* standard, with the use of a hot-tub all year round, providing a waiver has been signed. We have installed a brand new and improved hot tub, guests have exclusive use and is available throughout the year. Please replace the lid as soon as you have finished using the tub, to ensure the heat is kept to its optimum temperature. We provide designer bedding, bath robes, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble Dryer, luxury shower, mobile reception for most providers and there are breath-taking views. We also provide an external sink to clean boots and a boot rack, and deck shoes if required. There is underfloor heating throughout the lodge and also a bioethanol fire, just for a bit of ambience.
Guest access
Guests have access to our garden and they have a patio with a fire-pit for their own use. Please note the location map for the proximity of our house to the Lodge. Although every effort has been made to make this a private space, we do share our garden with guests. There is also access to our 3.5 acre field if there are not any animal grazing.We have supplied maps of the local area for walks, and information of things to do.
Other things to note
With its annual Abergavenny Food Festival, the town is also a mecca for foodies – and there are plenty of gorgeous gastro pubs, ancient inns and restaurants to try in the surrounding countryside too. There is a local pub, The Red Hart in Llanvapley, about 20 minute walk, open Thursday-Sunday, see Fbook for details. The town is a great base for walking and cycling as we're close to cycle routes and Offa's Dyke path.
Located in Abergavenny, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains. Tithe Barn and Borough Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Battlelands Paintball and Oldfield Forge. Bowlplex Cwmbran and Super Tubing are also worth visiting. Take time off to check out the winery tours in the area, or get some fresh air with adventures like cycling nearby.
