This is the perfect family location sleeping four guests comfortably in the coastal town of Portknockie which is located in the stunning North-east of Scotland. The property has a very cosy kitchen-dining area sitting room and is beautifully furnished and finished after a full renovation. It has a relaxed sea-side feel which is ideal for friends or family who want the perfect get away to recharge. Portknockie is a great place for walkers and those who love to take in the local scenery. The neighbouring village of Cullen, about 2 miles away, is very much worth a visit. The local delicacy of cullen skink (a thick soup made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions) is very historical and a great dish to try. You can take a boat trip on the Gemini Explorer to search for dolphins in the Moray Firth from Buckie, a working fishing town about 4 miles away. Or, further afield at Spey Bay, you will find the popular Scottish Dolphin Centre and Nature Reserve. The famous Speyside Whisky Trail is also within easy reach and should not be missed.
